Country Garden

Once a car park between two houses, this space has been transformed into a large garden that now spans all the buildings. The design restores unity and flow to the property, reconnecting it with its natural surroundings and creating a sense of continuity between architecture and landscape.

The garden features a large bespoke shell fountain, a courtyard garden, and flint retaining walls with gate piers that give the space both structure and character. Ponds, large herbaceous beds, and flowing grasses lead the view outward, opening the garden to the countryside beyond. The result is a setting where formality and openness coexist, transforming a once-functional space into one of calm and presence.
